God’s Word
Postings in this category, initially, center on reflections on the Psalms and reflections on Bible Characters. I draw on notes from my daily devotional reading (Quiet Time, as some call it) and Bible Study to write the reflections on the Psalms.
Walking with God
Under this heading I offer reflections on a leader’s personal walk with God. Many of these center on what are often called “Spiritual Disciplines.” I prefer a term I learned from a BILD leadership training course – “Habits of the Heart.”
Serving with God
These entries focus on ministry – how can leaders better “serve God.” In this category I include comments on Charles Bridges’ book Christian Ministry. I am slowly reading through this book with a friend and reflecting on it, chapter by chapter.
Organizing life
This section is more practical – how leaders of God’s people can better managing life and ministry.
